By getting as high as the planes

She feels used

Mentally and emotionally abused

When she lights the fuse

She dreams into the clouds

She wants to make her grandpa proud

But all her family does is tear her down

She smiles but underneath there is a frown

When she’s in the clouds she’s a princess wearing a crown

A smile appears

And gets rid of her fears

Takes away her tears

Beyond the stars

There’s her man on mars

She must wait

Until the date

When she meets her fate

And falls in love on the first date

She holds her head up

She walks with confidence

Because she knows one day when she’s getting her money up her parents are going to regret fucking up when they should have been lifting her up
